Russian Army Continues Striking Kyiv, Donetsk And Dnipro Regions Also Under Fire: What’s Known About The Aftermath

The Russian army has continued its strikes on Kyiv, Donetsk, and Dnipro regions, with ongoing attacks causing casualties and damage. On September 27, a drone hit a non-residential building in Kyiv, killing one person and injuring four, including a woman and two 16-year-old teenagers. The injured are receiving medical assistance as Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported their condition to the public. Kyiv's Kyivstar headquarters was also damaged by the strike, with no employee injuries reported.

In Shevchenkivskyi district, additional injuries were reported, with three people hospitalized after an enemy UAV struck a non-residential building. In Fastiv district, a window manufacturing enterprise and two vehicles were damaged by Russian forces, with one security guard injured and hospitalized. In Brovary district, a warehouse building and an unfinished administrative building suffered damages, with rescuers attending to the affected areas.

Donetsk region has been heavily impacted by Russian airstrikes, with a woman killed and residential buildings damaged. In Kramatorsk district, four aerial bombs were dropped on the village of Shabelkivka, killing a woman born in 1941 and damaging 16 private houses. Additionally, in Sloviansk, private housing and an administrative building were targeted, with a residential building destroyed and a fire breaking out, leading rescuers to suspend operations due to the threat of further shelling.

The regional military administration reported that Russian forces have also attacked Dnipro, and the data on casualties and aftermath is being clarified. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed that the Russians launched over 2,200 strike drones at Ukraine and around 1,650 aerial bombs and 38 missiles during the week, with many of them being ballistic.
