NDC suspends vetting exercise in Krowor constituency, reschedules to September 29

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has halted its vetting process in the Krowor constituency as of September 27, 2026. According to a statement released on the same day by Mahdi Gibrill, the NDC's Acting Director of Elections, all candidates, stakeholders, and party officials in the area have been informed of the suspension.

The rescheduled vetting session is set for September 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the NDC's national headquarters. The party has not provided a reason for the suspension in their notice. They mentioned that any additional information or instructions regarding the exercise will be communicated to stakeholders as needed. The NDC's 2026 constituency executive aspirant vetting process began on September 25 and continued until September 27 across various constituency offices in the country.

Candidates who may be disqualified can file an appeal from September 29 to October 1, 2026, during which it will be handled at regional offices. Constituency elections are scheduled for October 24 and 25, 2026, at designated venues within each constituency.
