Prasarana clinches two awards at HR Tech & Innovation Conference & Expo

Prasarana Malaysia Bhd received two awards at the Malaysia HR Tech & Innovation Conference & Expo 2026, held on September 22 and 23. The company's HR Tech Organisation of the Year award recognized its success in advancing training and human capital development through technology. This digital learning platform, called the Prasarana Learning Management System (PALMS), centralizes access to learning, knowledge resources, assessments, and analytics, offering a self-directed, mobile, and personalized learning experience enhanced by Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

The PALMS platform serves over 13,000 employees across rail, bus, technical, and corporate operations in the Klang Valley and Penang.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Azfar Amran, a 28-year-old from Prasarana's Learning and Development Department, was honored with the Early Tech HR Professional Award. He played a crucial role in driving the digital learning transformation through PALMS. Prasarana Group chief human capital officer, Dr Harigaran Bharatham, attributed the recognition to the company's persistent efforts and dedication to enhancing human capital development and organizational capability in alignment with technological advancements and workforce requirements.

This prestigious award not only signifies a significant achievement for Prasarana but also positions the organization among the leading conglomerates in Malaysia, including those in banking and telecommunications. The HR Tech & Innovation Conference & Expo 2026 attracted over 2,000 leaders and innovators, focusing on technological advancements and HR-driven strategies to create organizations that are more adaptable, competitive, and capable of navigating change.
