Peter Obi watches Ikorodu City, Rangers NPFL clash in Lagos

Sporting Lagos head coach Jeffrey Buter expressed disappointment over his team's 1-1 draw against Barau FC in the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL matchday six clash. The match took place at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan, on Saturday. Barau FC secured the lead with a penalty scored by Joseph Atule just before halftime, following a foul on Stanley Oganbor.

Sodiq Ayoade equalized the score for Sporting Lagos in the second half. Buter believed his team deserved a better result, stating, "Yeah, disappointing, like you said. I think we deserved more than a draw. We should have won this game." He mentioned that with better officiating, they might have secured maximum points. Despite the draw, Buter was content with the team's fight and courage. Sporting Lagos will now face Ikorodu City in the upcoming local derby.
