Perodua Viva crashes into parked lorry in Kota Kinabalu, killing four men

KOTA KINABALU, September 27 - Four men lost their lives after the Perodua Viva they were traveling in lost control and collided with a stationary five-tonne lorry on the roadside at Taman Jaya Diri, Jalan Sepanggar, early this morning. The Fire and Rescue Department reported receiving an emergency call at 2:37 am, with Kota Kinabalu Fire and Rescue Station personnel and the Lintas Fire and Rescue Station arriving on the scene at 2:59 am.

Upon arrival, they discovered all four victims trapped inside the vehicle, whose identities are yet to be determined. The firemen utilized specialized rescue equipment to free the trapped men, carrying out the operation and declaring all four deceased at 3:50 am.
