NASCAR points standings: Truck Series points update after Kansas race

Kaden Honeycutt emerged victorious in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings after securing a win at the RaceToStopSuicide.com 200 race event held at Kansas Speedway on September 26. Honeycutt took the lead on a restart with under 15 laps remaining and held off his competitor Layne Riggs during the final laps, claiming the win.

Riggs, however, suffered a poor finish, finishing 19th by the end of the race. Other Chase drivers, including Grant Enfinger and Tyler Ankrum, also experienced late trouble, with tire failures resulting from contact with other vehicles. The updated NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series points standings following the Kansas race are as follows: Kaden Honeycutt leads the pack with 2,197 points, followed by Layne Riggs with 2,160 points.

Chandler Smith, Gio Ruggiero, Christian Eckes, Daniel Hemric, Ty Majeski, and Ben Rhodes also made their mark with point deductions of -71, -72, -82, -87, -88, and -98 respectively. Grant Enfinger and Tyler Ankrum rounded out the top 10 with point deductions of -118 and -127 respectively.
