Malaysia fans can catch five Fifa Asean Cup matches live on RTM

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 27 — Radio Televisyen Malaysia (RTM) has formed a strategic partnership with YTL Corporation Berhad, named as the primary sponsor for the broadcast of the upcoming Fifa Asean Cup 2026. This collaboration aims to broadcast five key matches of the tournament live for Malaysian fans, including three Group A matches featuring the Malaysian team, the third-place playoff, and the final match.

RTM, as the official broadcaster, will air these matches on Sukan RTM and Sukan+ RTM channels, and through online streaming via the RTMKlik application.

Malaysia's match against Bangladesh at the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta last Friday was broadcast live, with the Malaysian team currently holding the 136th position in the world rankings, while Bangladesh is ranked 181st. Following that, an Indonesia vs Malaysia match is scheduled for Sept 28 at 8:30 pm Malaysian time, while Malaysia's game against Singapore will be played on Oct 1 at 8:30 pm. Finally, the group third-place playoff and final matches are set for Oct 5, at 5:00 pm and 9:00 pm respectively.
