Krisis NS: Adun BN-PN kunci mulut selepas hampir 3 jam jumpa Zahid

In Kuala Lumpur, the meeting between nine Barisan Nasional (BN) and Perikatan Nasional (PN) assemblymen and Umno Negeri Sembilan's president, Zahid Hamidi, lasted nearly three hours last night at the Menara Dato' Onn. However, there were no representatives of the people present to share the outcome of the meeting regarding the chaotic administration of Negeri Sembilan with the media.

Fadil Zain, the Umno Negeri Sembilan Youth Chief, informed that Zahid would make a formal statement about the recent developments. "The president (Zahid) will make a statement," he said. The meeting was chaired by the Chief Minister, Ismail Lasim, and also attended by Umno Negeri Sembilan's Adun Pertang, Zahid Hamidi, PAS Negeri Sembilan's Serting Fairuz Mohd Isa, and Razali Abu Samah from the Wawasan Negara Party.

The meeting aimed to discuss solutions for solving the ongoing administration issues in the state, which escalated when Tuanku Muhriz Tuanku Munawir cancelled the appointment of 10 powerful state executive council members on September 20. They are Faizal Ramli, Zaifulbahri Idris, Mustapha Nagoor, Siow Kong Choon, Siti Nur Umaira, Asna Amin, Razi Ali, Suhaimizan Bizar, Fairuz, and Razali.

Before that, 10 former exco members who were involved in the cancellation of Tuanku Muhriz's authority in April last year were declared as having a valid proclamation. However, the Attorney General's Chambers (AGC) later stated that the proclamation was invalid as it did not comply with the Government of the State of Negeri Sembilan Act 1959 and emphasized that the Chief Minister and the exco do not have the unilateral power to vacate the Yang Dipertuan Besar's position.
