João Klauss, Justin Haak score after Rapids’ own goal and Galaxy rally for 3-2 victory

João Klauss and Justin Haak both scored goals, but only after a second-half own goal by Colorado's Reggie Cannon. The game began with Colorado taking the lead in the 39th minute, thanks to a goal by Paxten Aaronson.

The Galaxy quickly responded, cutting the deficit to 1-2 four minutes later through Donavan Phillip's goal. Phillip's assist came from Josh Atencio and Jackson Travis, marking his eighth appearance for Colorado. The Galaxy's lead remained intact until Colorado scored again in the 66th minute, tying the game at 2-2. Justin Haak then scored a goal in the 74th minute, giving the Galaxy the lead for good.
