Haaland accomplished this milestone during Norway's 3-2 victory over Denmark on Friday, ahead of Norway's upcoming clash with Portugal in the UEFA Nations League.

The Manchester City forward displayed his continued significance to his national team, scoring twice in the match and showcasing his rapid rise in the international goalscoring rankings. Haaland's two goals came after Norway took an early lead through Oscar Bobb in the 14th minute and Haaland extending the advantage four minutes later.

Haaland now boasts 64 goals in 56 international appearances for Norway, translating to an impressive 1.1 goals per match. This feat places him ahead of Ronaldo Nazário and Zlatan Ibrahimović, who each ended their international careers with 62 goals. The Manchester City forward required just 56 matches to achieve a tally that took Ronaldo 98 appearances and Ibrahimović 122.
