Giants’ Jameis Winston Goes Viral for Tackling Cam Skattebo in Bizarre Blunder

Just when the New York Giants' week couldn't get worse, Jameis Winston took center stage for the team against the Tennessee Titans. Winston started the game following Jaxson Dart's severe knee injury, which is likely to sideline him for the rest of the 2026 season. In the first half, Cam Skattebo dominated the Giants, intercepting the ball on 15 plays, but his contribution was limited to 29 yards in total.

A bizarre play in the first quarter added to the Giants' woes. With Winston's star running back on their 5-yard line, Winston opted to hand the ball to Skattebo. However, instead of allowing Skattebo to run, Winston essentially tackled him, causing the running back to lose three yards for the Giants. This incident further highlights the need for a new starting quarterback in New York.

Winston is in his second year with the team, but his performance with the offense leaves much to be desired. Earlier in the game, Fox's Jay Glazer reported that John Harbaugh's Giants are narrowing down their list of potential replacements for Dart to Kansas City Chiefs backup Justin Fields and free agent Jimmy Garoppolo. The Giants are hoping to find a suitable replacement before their crucial Week 4 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.
