Chief Minister should learn to speak politely, says Nainar

Nainar Nagenthran, the president of the Tamil Nadu Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), criticized Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay for his lack of polite communication upon taking office. Nagenthran expressed concern about the potential impact of Vijay's administration on the state of Tamil Nadu. In a recent media interview, he stated that the law and order situation in the state was deteriorating, and the discontinuation of the Parandur airport project would result in a loss of progress equivalent to 10 years.

Nagenthran further suggested that if the government had successfully completed land acquisition and obtained all necessary approvals, the Tamil Nadu BJP would have advocated for the accelerated expansion of the Coimbatore airport. He also pointed out the BJP's previous alliance with the DMK during the 1999 elections, followed by a shift in alignment with the Congress, which is currently supporting Vijay's government.

Nagenthran questioned the Chief Minister's contradictory claims, specifically regarding the necessity of a new Secretariat and the absence of an estimate or blueprint for the project.
