Aligarh Horror: 7 Booked For Assaulting Man, Shaving Head & Beard, Forcing Him To Drink Urine

Aligarh, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India, witnessed a shocking incident in which seven individuals, including three women, have been booked for allegedly assaulting a man, shaving half of his head and beard, and forcing him to drink urine. This incident took place in a village near Akrabad police station, approximately 40 km from Aligarh city.

The assault came to light on September 27, 2026, after a video of the alleged attack was circulated on social media, leading to the victim lodging a complaint at the police station. According to the police, the victim, an unmarried man, had reportedly developed a relationship with a married woman from the family of his sister's in-laws.

When this relationship was discovered, a group of people, possibly including the victim's sister's in-laws and some unidentified individuals, confronted him and allegedly subjected him to the horrific assault. The police statement on Saturday revealed that the accused have absconded, and efforts are being made to locate them. A case has been registered for assault and inhuman treatment, and further investigation is underway to identify the remaining accused.
