Three individuals were killed and four more sustained injuries following a violent altercation that erupted into gunfire at an after-hours strip club in Detroit, Michigan early Sunday morning, according to police reports. The shooting occurred around 7:21am on a residential street, with all seven victims believed to be in their 20s and 30s.

Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison confirmed that officers responding to the scene discovered three men who had succumbed to their wounds. The four injured victims, comprising two men and two women, were transported to local hospitals in private vehicles. Bettison stated that the shooting followed an altercation at the venue, where an argument escalated into gun violence.

He noted that the location had been the subject of seven previous calls to police this year, indicating familiarity with the address. Police have leads in the case but have not disclosed additional details about the ongoing investigation. The venue is classified as an after-hours establishment operating as a strip club. Detroit Mayor Mary Sheffield called upon witnesses to come forward, urging them to cooperate with authorities in bringing justice to the situation, expressing deep sorrow over the tragic loss of life and emphasizing the need to end such violence in their community.
