Remaja 16 tahun ditahan bantu siasatan kematian pelajar di asrama

A 16-year-old student has been detained to assist with the investigation into the death of a 14-year-old male student at a secondary school sports academy in Kuala Pilah yesterday. The Police Chief of Negeri Sembilan, Alzafny Ahmad, stated that the case was being investigated under Section 302 of the Sedition Act. Police are examining all facts and evidence to determine the cause and the real motive behind the incident, according to Bernama.

Initial findings indicate the event occurred around 8 pm at a school hostel in Kuala Pilah. The victim was reportedly taken to Tuanku Ampuan Najihah Hospital in Kuala Pilah and confirmed dead. The family of the victim had accused the student of being beaten in the school hostel, but this allegation has not been confirmed by the police.

The police advise the public against making any speculation, spreading unconfirmed information, or disseminating it, as it could jeopardize the investigation and the family's privacy. The police take any act of violence involving a student, especially one resulting in a loss of life, very seriously. Their priority is to ensure the investigation is conducted professionally, thoroughly, and based on evidence, to provide justice to all parties involved, they urged anyone with relevant information to come forward to assist the investigation.
