Police, DSS, ICPC cleared me of allegations — Gbajabiamila

Chief of Staff to President Bola Tinubu, Femi Gbajabiamila, has clarified that investigations into allegations against him have cleared him of any wrongdoing. During the 2026 Gbaja mega empowerment in Lagos, Gbajabiamila addressed the allegations and expressed gratitude towards those who supported him during the scrutiny. The Nigerian Police, the DSS, and the ICPC investigated the allegations, and their reports confirmed that there was no evidence linking Gbajabiamila or his office to the alleged organization or the appointment of its alleged director-general.

Gbajabiamila emphasized that the allegations tested his integrity and highlighted the challenges associated with public service, especially for those in high political positions. He praised President Tinubu for adhering to due process and remaining committed to his responsibilities despite the attempts to distract him. Gbajabiamila also announced a ₦1.15 billion empowerment program for approximately 5,000 beneficiaries in his Surulere constituency, which included cash grants, vehicles, equipment, and other forms of assistance.
