Owen McCown passes for 303 yards and 3 TDs as UTSA beats Colorado State 59-45

In a game on Saturday, UTSA outscored Colorado State 59-45. Quarterback Owen McCown contributed significantly with 303 passing yards and three touchdowns. Running backs Will Henderson III and Brandon High Jr. each added a touchdown on the ground. Colorado State found themselves within one touchdown in the fourth quarter twice, but UTSA answered each time. A 46-yard field goal by Michael Petro made it 52-42, and A’Marion Peterson sealed the victory with a 47-yard touchdown run.

Joel Rogers sealed the game with an interception with 1:31 left on the clock. UTSA dominated the ground game, rushing for 239 yards and scoring four times. Henderson and High both contributed with 89 and 76 yards, respectively. Wide receiver DJ Allen Jr., Anderson, and David Amador II also found the end zone. Colorado State's defense was solid, with kicker Farrar contributing 344 passing yards, two touchdowns, and an interception. UTSA will face Oregon State next Saturday at home.
