More Than 100 Students Played The Roles Of Representatives Of Various Countries And Deliberated On Global Trade And AI

Greater Noida witnessed a unique Model United Nations event on Saturday, where over 100 students from 14 schools in Classes 9 to 12 took on the roles of representatives of various countries. The Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show-2026 hosted the 'Viksit Bharat Model United Nations (MUN)', aimed at helping the younger generation understand global trade, the world economy, technology, and the evolving global supply chain.

The event, themed 'Viksit Bharat 2047', allowed students to grasp the complexities of international diplomacy, policymaking, and decision-making on an international platform. Students not only presented their views as representatives of their assigned countries but also had to understand the economic conditions, trade policies, and global dynamics influencing those decisions.

This practical experience promoted public speaking, research, critical thinking, negotiation, and decision-making skills. Alongside the MUN, students visited various pavilions showcasing Uttar Pradesh’s industry, investment, exports, technology, handicrafts, culture, and heritage. The program featured awards for outstanding delegates and certificates for all participants.

Schools like Ryan International School, Aster Public School, and others saw students actively engaging in the discussions, turning the event into a vibrant platform for dialogue, ideas, and learning.
