MIHAS Awards 2026 Celebrates Excellence and Sets New Benchmark for Innovation, Sustainability and Digitalisation Across the Global Halal Ecosystem

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA - The MIHAS Awards 2026, a significant event during the Malaysia International Halal Showcase (MIHAS) 2026, took place at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The awards ceremony recognized outstanding exhibitors who are leading the way in global halal industry excellence, innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation.

The 2026 version of the awards highlighted future-ready business practices, emerging technologies, digitalisation, sustainability, and inclusive growth, reflecting the evolving priorities of the global halal industry. The ceremony honoured 13 award winners across three flagship categories - Excellence Awards, Innovation, Sustainability & Digitalisation Awards, and introduced the Women in Export (WiEX) Awards for the first time.

The WiEX Awards celebrate exceptional women-led businesses in the Excellence and Innovation categories, showcasing MIHAS's dedication to promoting inclusivity and recognizing the vital contributions of women entrepreneurs to the halal economy. The 2026 MIHAS Awards emphasized innovation, sustainability, and digitalisation as key drivers of competitiveness.

Entrants showcased their achievements, innovation capabilities, sustainability initiatives, and use of digital technologies through a rigorous evaluation process. Judges assessed how businesses leveraged digital solutions and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance products, improve processes, expand market reach, and generate new value.

The winners of the MIHAS Awards 2026 were announced at the official ceremony, with the awards including Product / Service Excellence Awards, Product / Service Emerging Star Awards, Product / Service Innovation, Sustainability and Digitalisation Awards, and WiEX Product / Service Excellence Awards.
