Indore Food Safety Teams Inspect Eateries Near Bus Stand, Collect Eight Samples

Indore's Food Safety Administration conducted inspections at multiple eateries near the bus stand on Saturday, gathering eight samples for laboratory testing. Bharatiya Bhojanalaya in South Tukoganj, inspected with its manager present, was found lacking medical certificates for food workers, pest control authorization, food testing documentation, and water testing results, resulting in an improvement notice.

Sai Prasad Dining Hall Restaurant at Rani Sarai also lacked essential paperwork, including medical certificates, pest control permits, food testing reports, water testing data, adequate storage for raw ingredients, and evidence of training for food supervisors. The establishment received a notice as well. Additionally, Neelkanth Bhojanalaya at Rani Sarai lacked employees' medical certificates and a water testing report, with roti discovered on newspaper; two samples of paneer and rice were collected for testing.

JK Traders Company in Sindhi Colony provided four samples of soybean oil, sesame oil, moong dal, and tur dal, all to be analyzed at the State Food Testing Laboratory in Bhopal. The Food Safety Administration pledged ongoing inspections and sample collection endeavors to uphold hygiene and food safety standards at food businesses.
