Hill scores a pair of short TDs, Buffalo holds off Robert Morris 31-28

Buffalo secured a 31-28 victory over Robert Morris in a game marred by miscues. Nino Hill contributed with two short touchdowns as the Bulls (2-2) overcame several errors to emerge victorious. Jason Wright, who threw for a touchdown and ran for another, faced two interceptions as Buffalo struggled to seal the win. A fumble by Wright, recovered by Jaylen Williams and Khalil Hunter in the end zone, brought the score to 28-21 with 9:32 left on the clock.

Oliver Hautanen's missed field goals kept the game within a 10-point margin until the final moments. Despite Messiah Burch's impressive 137-yard rushing performance, Hill finished with 72 yards on 20 carries. Carson Haggard's 32-yard touchdown pass to Noah Schaerli tied the game at 14 just before halftime. However, Buffalo recovered an onside kick, sealing their win. Robert Morris will host Norfolk State next Saturday, while Buffalo faces Western Michigan.
