Fury says his fight with Joshua is in jeopardy over promoters' clash

Tyson Fury has expressed concern that his upcoming fight with British rival Anthony Joshua may be jeopardized, as per Reuters' report on September 26. The bout, originally announced by promoter Turki Alalshikh and streaming platform Netflix, is scheduled for December 11 and would see the two former world heavyweight champions face off in an all-British clash for the WBA Super heavyweight title in Cardiff.

Both Fury and Joshua have posted videos on social media, with Fury stating that Joshua and his promoter Eddie Hearn are attempting to withdraw from the fight, claiming they no longer wish to compete. Reuters reached out to Hearn's promotion company, Matchroom Boxing, for a response. Hearn had previously insisted on the bout taking place in the United Kingdom, while the promoters had earlier suggested staging it in New York's Madison Square Garden.
