Four injured in electric mishap during Ganesha idol procession in Virajpet

Four individuals suffered injuries in an electrical mishap during a procession carrying Ganesha idols in Virajpet, Kodagu district, on Saturday morning. Superintendent of Kodagu district police, R. Bindu Mani, reported that two of the four injured are facing serious injuries. The incident occurred when individuals on a vehicle carrying a sound system, which was part of the procession, came too close to overhead electrical cables.

Three of the injured are receiving medical treatment at a hospital in Madikeri, while the fourth person has been transported to a hospital in Mysuru.
