Ex-principal of Gujarat school held for ‘raping’ minor student

A former principal at a residential school in Gujarat's Kutch district has been arrested on charges of raping a minor student multiple times. The incident came to light after a teacher discovered a pregnancy test kit in the school's lobby in mid-August. A subsequent internal investigation led to the principal being dismissed from his position and the woman and man responsible for covering up the incident were apprehended.

The student's parents filed a rape complaint on September 25, leading to the arrest of the principal, a trustee, administrator, and hostel warden under various laws. The police are now seeking a school trustee, administrator, and hostel warden for allegedly concealing the incident.
