Bigg Boss Marathi’s Divya Shinde booked after Pune doctor alleges assault

Pune police have charged Bigg Boss Marathi contestant Divya Shinde, along with several others, over allegations of assaulting a retired government doctor and demanding Rs 5 lakh. The incident allegedly occurred at Dr Vidyadhar Gaikwad's residence and on September 23 when Dhamdhere threatened him. The FIR was lodged on Friday by Dr Gaikwad, a member of the Karunadeep Foundation.

Shinde and others allegedly visited Gaikwad's home with a wooden stick, belt and metal pot, vandalising the house and threatening his son. The police have booked Shinde, Dhamdhere and others under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, including charges of attempt to murder, causing hurt, criminal intimidation and extortion.
