Abiodun’s Ex-CoS Taiwo vows to deploy Ogun govt experience for Yewa South/Ipokia

Dr. Oluwatoyin Emmanuel Taiwo, a former Chief of Staff to Ogun State Governor Prince Dapo Abiodun, has pledged to leverage his extensive government experience and network for the benefit of Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency if he is elected to the House of Representatives in 2027. During a meeting with stakeholders in Ipokia, the APC candidate emphasized that his background in government, including serving as Commissioner for Culture and Tourism and Deputy Chief of Staff, provided him with essential knowledge, contacts, and institutional understanding to effectively represent the constituency at the federal level.

Taiwo assured constituents that his representation would be accessible, focused on their needs, and involve active engagement with both the National Assembly and the constituency's development concerns. He pledged to use his network to attract federal projects in education, agriculture, healthcare, infrastructure, youth development, skills acquisition, and employment, but stressed that any projects must be properly monitored to ensure they deliver tangible value to the people.

With his experience in government processes, policy formulation, administration, and stakeholder engagement, Taiwo believes he is well-equipped to build productive relationships with federal institutions and development agencies to better serve the constituency. He also promised regular consultations with traditional rulers, community leaders, youth and women's groups, professionals, farmers, business owners, and other stakeholders across Yewa South and Ipokia, emphasizing that effective legislative representation should be measured by the ability to identify needs, secure appropriate interventions, and remain accountable to the electorate.
