YVU Kadapa announces 2-year MA in Journalism

Yogi Vemana University in Kadapa has launched a two-year Master of Arts (M.A.) program in Journalism for the academic session 2026-27. Students who have registered for Journalism in the Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (APPGCET) and secured ranks have the opportunity to enroll in this course at YVU. Any undergraduate degree holder is eligible to apply for the program, according to Prof. T. Syam Swaroop, Head of the Journalism Department at YVU.

Those who have applied for other courses but were unsuccessful in gaining admission can also pursue journalism and build a career in various media fields, including print, electronic, digital media, advertising, public relations, media law, and political communication.

Additionally, YVU has introduced a new course titled 'Artificial Intelligence – Media' with credits available from the current academic year. Interested candidates can reach out to Prof. T.
