XCF Global announces August revenue of more than $10M from shipment of 1.3M gallons of renewable fuel

India's crude steel production increased by 4.6% compared to the previous year, reaching 14.8 million tonnes in August, according to World Steel Association data. However, global steel output declined by 1.2%, despite several countries showing growth. China, the world's largest producer, saw a 3.7% decrease, producing 74.6 million tonnes.

The US increased its output by 3%, reaching 7.3 million tonnes. Japan continued to be the third-largest producer, with an output of 6.7 million tonnes. Despite the global decline, Asia and Oceania remained the largest steel-producing region, contributing 106.7 million tonnes in August, a 1.4% decrease compared to the previous year.

Among the major producers, South Korea's output rose by 2.6%, while Germany's increased by 1.7%. Vietnam experienced a significant 36.4% increase, producing 2.7 million tonnes. Brazil's production fell by 6.2% to 2.7 million tonnes. In contrast, production declined in West Asia, South America, and Russia and other CIS countries, with Ukraine also facing a decrease.

The data highlights the disparity between India's growth and the decline in output in several major steel-producing regions.
