Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Retakes the Stage With ‘Encore’ Deluxe: Stream It Now

Taylor Swift returned to the stage for a final performance in "The Life of a Showgirl" with the release of the deluxe edition of her 12th studio album. Four new tracks, "Patient Zero," "Babylon," "Pink Clouding" and "Cleveland!" were added to the original set, which held the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for 12 weeks. Swift's journey with the album began a year ago when fans helped it achieve a record-breaking first week sales of 4.002 million equivalent album units in the United States.

In a post on Instagram, Swift expressed her gratitude to her fans for their support and added that she and her collaborators Max Martin and Shellback felt compelled to write more songs. The 14-time Grammy winner had previously hinted at the upcoming release by replacing the letter O's in her Instagram bio and song lyrics with zeros.

Swifties eagerly await the premiere of the music video for "Patient Zero" during this Sunday's (Sept. 27) VMAs, where Swift will also receive the inaugural Artist Director Honor.
