Signed to a three-year, $45 million deal, Suarez was expected to serve as a high-leverage set-up man alongside closer Raisel Iglesias. Before his injury, Suarez had a 0.56 ERA over 31 appearances, recording 12 holds and four saves. The bullpen has been strong, ranking third in ERA across the league, but the dynamic duo of Suarez and Iglesias could prove crucial in late-inning situations.
