Poland says fire at Starlink station is sabotage as Denmark warns of rising Russian threat

A fire at a Starlink satellite station in central Poland, located in the Masovian Voivodeship province, was reportedly an intentional act of sabotage carried out against the facility, according to Deputy Prime Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski. The incident allegedly disrupted internet access for various entities, including the Ukrainian military.

The government is currently conducting an investigation, with indications pointing towards the involvement of Russia in the attack. The Kremlin has not made any statements regarding the matter.

In parallel, Denmark's intelligence agency released a fresh threat assessment, forecasting that Russia might intensify hybrid warfare in the upcoming months. Although the likelihood of a Russian attack remains low, the agency cautioned of a minimal but increasing risk of a limited military assault on NATO countries.

Several European NATO members have recently suggested that Russia may be staging attacks to assess their commitment to assisting Ukraine, a claim that Moscow denies. Earlier this month, Germany held Russia accountable for a potential drone attack on Leipzig/Halle Airport, while France has initiated measures to safeguard critical infrastructure and defense industry facilities against potential threats.
