Perdana Menteri Anwar Ibrahim has emphasized that the position of the Yang Di Pertuan Negeri Sembilan should not be taken lightly, as Malaysia practices the system of Raja Berperlembagaan. He stated that any action against the position of a specific ruler should not be taken arbitrarily, but rather based on the Constitution and laws.

Anwar reiterated that he did not interfere, but rather left decisions to the Constitution and its provisions. He emphasized that the issue of a ruler's position cannot be taken lightly as Malaysia follows the Raja Berperlembagaan system, which places the royal institution within the framework of the Constitution. Anwar stated that discussions should be conducted in an eloquent manner, and he does not support easily removing or deposing a ruler.

Instead, any such action must be subject to the conditions and procedures stipulated in the state's Constitution. He stressed that the current ruling requires maintaining the Raja Berperlembagaan system to prevent it from being undermined due to actions that do not comply with the Constitution. Anwar also noted that the issue cannot be viewed merely as a political matter, but rather as an essential aspect of the national system that must be preserved.
