Pezeshkian says up to US to choose whether to end war on Iran

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian stated that it is ultimately up to the United States to decide whether to end the ongoing conflict with Iran. Tehran has no desire to continue the war, according to Pezeshkian, who made this clear during an interview with Fox News. He blamed the war on instigations conducted by Israel, asserting that it was imposed upon Iran.

Pezeshkian emphasized that Iran is eager to reach a deal and put an end to the conflict, questioning why the previous Trump administration abandoned a signed agreement within just two weeks. He posed the question of whether the current US administration, within the bounds of international law, is willing to negotiate an agreement, with no difference in outcome whether this occurs before or after the upcoming US midterm elections.
