Pakistan Issues Visa Advisory for Travel to 2 Central Asian Countries

Pakistan has issued a visa advisory for travelers planning to cross the border between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan by road. The country's ambassador, Mudassir Tipu, has warned citizens to obtain double-entry or multiple-entry visas to prevent potential issues at the border. Tipu emphasized that some Pakistani travelers have already encountered difficulties due to inadequate visa documentation.

In certain cases, resolving these problems with the relevant authorities has taken up to 10 to 14 days, as a result of complex and lengthy procedures. Tipu stressed that the absence of proper visas has led to unnecessary distress and inconvenience for certain travelers. He urged all Pakistani citizens planning to travel between these two Central Asian nations to thoroughly verify their visas and other travel documents prior to commencing their journey.

According to Tipu, conducting advance verification of these documents would help travelers avert complications, delays, and inconvenience at the border crossings.
