NCDMB, Techico boost learning at Delta school

The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has teamed up with Techico Resource Solutions Limited to enhance learning at Ugbuwangue Secondary School in Warri, Delta State. This collaboration was marked by a formal handover ceremony held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, where representatives from both organizations, school officials, educators, learners, and community members attended.

According to a statement released by the partners, the initiative falls under the "Back to the Creeks" program, which aims to tackle practical challenges faced by students and teachers by supplying resources to enhance the learning environment and promote more effective teaching and learning. At the event, Chief Executive Officer of Techico Resource Solutions Limited, Omolola Bolushire, expressed gratitude to NCDMB for backing the "Back to the Creeks" vision and investing in the future of young people.

She emphasized the significance of moving from discussions about development to taking concrete actions that address community needs. Bolushire called upon the school and the Ugbuwangue community to take ownership of the initiative and safeguard the provided resources for the benefit of future generations. "These are not simply gifts to a community.

They are an investment in a community. Please protect the facilities, protect the school and protect what has been provided," she stated. The Executive Secretary of NCDMB, represented by Mrs Khadija Jekine, expressed the Board's pleasure in supporting an initiative aimed at improving the learning experience of young people. "Education is an investment in the future.

By supporting schools and young people, we are helping to create opportunities that can have a lasting impact on communities," Jekine added. Ugbuwangue Secondary School Principal, Mrs Morrison Jemiyotan, also voiced appreciation for the intervention, noting that the resources would significantly benefit both teachers and students.

She emphasized the school's commitment to utilizing and maintaining the materials effectively for the students' advantage.
