Minister affirms RI's commitment to climate justice at the UN

The Attorneys Admission Committee convened in Doha, led by Minister of Justice and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs H E Ibrahim bin Ali Al Mohannadi. The committee deliberated on various matters pertaining to the legal profession.

Three new lawyers took the legal oath, completing their training period and joining the ranks of practicing attorneys. The committee also reviewed applications to register individuals who practice similar legal professions, as well as approving the addition of new lawyers to the trainee roster. Furthermore, the committee evaluated applications from candidates preparing to enter the legal profession.

In a move to streamline legal registrations, the committee approved the transfer of one lawyer's registration from the Court of First Instance to the Court of Appeal, and another lawyer's registration from the Court of Appeal to the Court of Cassation. The committee also addressed several regulatory and developmental issues concerning the legal profession.

Minister Al Mohannadi expressed his congratulations to the newly sworn-in lawyers, emphasizing the significance of their role as exemplars of competence and adherence to professional ethics. He underscored the Ministry of Justice's dedication to fostering the growth of the legal profession, identifying and nurturing young national talent, and creating an conducive environment for lawyers to effectively and competently carry out their duties in Qatar National Vision 2030 and the Third National Development Strategy.
