Instructor, student trapped in car after crash outside Melaka driving school

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 25 — A 73-year-old driving instructor and his 20-year-old female student were trapped after a crash involving their Perodua Axia outside a driving school in Kandang, Melaka. The Melaka Fire and Rescue Department was alerted to the incident at 1.04pm, dispatching six personnel along with a fire engine to the scene.

Upon their arrival 10 minutes later, they found a road accident involving a Perodua Axia driven by the instructor and a Perodua Myvi, which was driven by the student. The Myvi driver sustained minor injuries, while the instructor and his student were trapped inside the Axia. Firefighters successfully extricated both victims before transferring them to Health Ministry personnel for further medical attention. The rescue operation concluded at 3.04pm, with no further hazards remaining at the scene.
