Grupo Lar asciende a Miguel Ángel Peña como nuevo CEO

Grupo Lar has appointed Miguel Ángel Peña as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), marking the first time a non-family member has held the position in the company's nearly 60-year history. Peña replaces Miguel Pereda, who will continue as non-executive chairman of the company. Grupo Lar currently has 10,375 homes under development, a portfolio valued at 3.75 billion euros by the end of 2025, and employs 244 people.

Peña will oversee the entire range of the group's business areas, including tertiary activity and corporate affairs, reporting directly to the board of directors. Prior to this appointment, Peña held various leadership roles within the company, including responsibility for international affairs and the Living area, with representation on the boards of directors for Grupo Lar's subsidiaries in Peru, Poland, Brazil, and Mexico.

He has also been a member of the investment committee and the board of directors since January 2025. Grupo Lar emphasizes that this appointment reflects their commitment to a talent-based management model and continuity, ensuring continued growth across the various countries and segments in which they operate.
