Great success once again for Celtic FC Foundation at London Gala Dinner

Celtic FC Foundation's eighth annual fundraising Gala in London last night saw a remarkable total of over £760,000 raised. The event was held at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel London at Tower Bridge and featured the attendance of over 150 guests, including renowned former Celtic players such as Joe Hart, Scott Brown, Stiliyan Petrov, Brian McClair, Paul Elliott, and Joe Ledley, as well as celebrated rock icon Sir Rod Stewart.

The evening's entertainment was provided by Heather Small, M People, the Troubadours, and the Dublin Legends, all adding to the lively atmosphere. Former goalkeeper Joe Hart participated in a Q&A segment, sharing memories and stories from his time at Celtic. A poignant moment of the night was when Stephanie Drew, mother of Sean who passed away from a degenerative brain condition, spoke about her family's experience and the vital support they received from the Foundation.

Funds raised will go towards initiatives like Paradise Pit Stop in Glasgow, Community Games London, and Ability Counts in Ireland. Celtic FC Foundation's CEO, Tony Hamilton, expressed gratitude to everyone involved, highlighting the foundation's commitment to supporting marginalised communities and those living in poverty. The success of the event was attributed to the support of guests, entertainers, donors, and the Foundation's loyal supporters, including its players, directors, and former players and celebrities.
