Economy Minister Kravchenko heads organizing committee for URC 2027 in Tallinn

The Ukrainian Cabinet of Ministers has established an organizing committee to prepare and host the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC 2027) in Tallinn, Estonia. The committee, led by Economy and Environment Minister Oleksandr Kravchenko, has received government approval for its composition and an action plan for the conference preparation.

The action plan outlines the responsibilities of various agencies, including coordinating with the Estonian side regarding conference dates, program and concept, lists of representatives from foreign states, international organizations, and businesses, as well as additional events organized by the Nordic-Baltic Eight (NB8) countries. The conference program should encompass business, human, local and regional, European, security and defense, digitalization, cybersecurity, gender equality, and inclusion.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sybiha revealed that URC 2027 will be the first winter edition of the event, marking a departure from previous conferences held in Gdansk, Poland and Rome, Italy. The 2026 conference saw nearly twice the number of participants as the 2025 edition held in Rome, and it yielded a significant number of agreements.

The 2027 conference will feature the Business Fair, which attracted 220 companies, including Ukraine's largest business delegation of 82 companies. The event series, which began in Lugano, London, Berlin, and Rome, culminated with the final conference in Estonia, with Tallinn now taking on the responsibility for hosting the next Ukraine Recovery Conference.
