Civic Chief Kshitij Singhal Sets Deadlines For Road Works Across The City

Indore's Municipal Commissioner Kshitij Singhal visited various city locations over the course of a day to oversee road work projects. On Thursday, he inspected master plan roads and junction development works, emphasizing the need for improved traffic flow and adherence to deadlines.

At Palda Square, Singhal ordered the removal of an electricity pole near the Hanuman temple, directing officials to develop the vacant area as a left turn. In Navalakha Square, he directed the extension of a divider towards Agrasen Pratima Square to widen left turns.

At Sadar Bazaar, near Gutkeshwar Mahadev Temple, Singhal instructed officials to commence bridge construction on an under-construction stretch and complete remaining works by October 25. He also visited master plan roads from Kila Maidan Trisection to Jinsi Square and Neminath Square, instructing officials to streamline left turns and finalize junction improvements.

At Rajendra Nagar Square, the Commissioner ordered the construction of a left turn to alleviate commuter difficulties stemming from the Rajendra Nagar Bridge. At Bijalpur Square, he directed officials to improve traffic movement by developing a left turn and eliminating obstructions.

Singhal inspected a road under construction between AB Road and Treasure Township, mandating completion of remaining works by October 31. Additionally, he directed officials to enhance the Amrit Hotel intersection on AB Road, aiming to boost traffic flow. Throughout his inspection, Kshitij Singhal stressed the importance of prioritizing traffic management, road safety, and timely project completion.
