Air India Express Offers 10% Student Discount, Here's Who Is Eligible And How To Claim 25 Kg Baggage Benefit?

Mumbai: Air India Express has launched a festive-season offer for students, granting 10 percent discounts on domestic flight tickets. The promotion runs until October 20, 2026, and can be accessed through the airline's website and mobile application. Students booking directly with the airline are allowed to carry up to 25 kg of checked baggage, a 10 kg increase from standard bookings.

A 10 kg checked baggage allowance is available to students at no extra charge, compared to the usual 15 kg. Students may also alter their travel dates for a fee of Rs 99, provided terms and conditions are met. Moreover, students who book flights using the "VIBES" promotional code receive an additional 5 percent discount on domestic or international flights.

To claim these benefits, passengers must be at least 12 years old and present a valid student photo ID from an accredited educational institution at check-in. The student's name and date of birth must be clearly visible on the identification card. Air India Express is also running another promotional offer for eligible Visa debit and credit cardholders.

Passengers utilizing the promo code "VISAFLY" can save up to Rs 600 on domestic and international flights. This offer is available until October 9, 2026, subject to airline terms and conditions. Air India Express operates over 500 flights daily and maintains a fleet of more than 100 Boeing 737 and Airbus A320-family aircraft.
