Adani Group debuts at Kolkata’s Durga Puja celebrations

The Adani Group, a major investment explorer in West Bengal, has chosen to introduce itself during the state's biggest cultural and religious event - Durga Puja. On September 24, Gautam Adani, the chairman of the Adani Group, declared plans to create a unique Durga Puja program that honors Bengal's artists and shares Maa across the globe.

West Bengal's Chief Minister, Suvendu Adhikari, confirmed that Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were signed with Adani Enterprises to explore cultural initiatives linked to Durga Puja and Bengal's rich artistic heritage. Two MoUs were officially signed, one for the preservation and restoration of the Writers' Buildings, and the other for Durga Puja, the main festival of West Bengal.

The Adani Group has now launched its official website for Durga Puja Adani Preview (DPAP) 2026. All Durga Pujas in Kolkata, Bidhannagar, and South Dum Dum municipality have been invited to register on the website by September 25, 2026. Each of the eight selected pujas will receive a grant of ₹25 lakh, with ₹10 lakh going to the artist and ₹15 lakh to the Puja Committee.

The first edition of DPAP will feature eight pujas from October 10 to 12, between 6 p.m. and 4 a.m., providing a convenient and hassle-free viewing experience for thousands who prefer to avoid the late-night Puja viewing rush. This initiative reaffirms Adani Group's commitment to Bengal's welfare. Previously, massArt organized a preview of Durga Puja from 2022, showcasing 24 contemporary Durga Puja art this year.
