8 UP Cooperative Sugar Mills Win National Efficiency Awards For Sugarcane & Sugar Sector Performance

Lucknow, September 25 - Eight cooperative sugar mills from Uttar Pradesh were recognized at the 'National Efficiency Awards Ceremony' for their exceptional performance and contributions in the sugarcane and sugar industry. The National Federation of Cooperative Sugar Factories Ltd. (NFCSF) presented these Efficiency Awards annually to honor the top-performing sugar mills across the nation in categories like sugarcane development, technical efficiency, financial management, and overall performance.

The Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sneh Road, Najibabad (Bijnor) emerged as the Overall Best Cooperative Sugar Mill for its outstanding performance across all metrics. Sarju Cooperative Sugar Mill, Belrayan (Lakhimpur Kheri) was honored for its efforts in Sugarcane Development, while Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gajraula (Amroha) was recognized for improving sugar recovery rates.

Baghpat Cooperative Sugar Mills Limited, Baghpat received praise for its financial management, and Ganga Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Morna (Muzaffarnagar), Ramala Cooperative Sugar Mill, Ramala (Baghpat), and Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sathiaon (Azamgarh) showcased technical efficiency. Finally, Kisan Cooperative Sugar Mill, Powayan (Shahjahanpur) was awarded for exceptional financial management skills.

This impressive list of achievements highlights the cooperative sugar mills' significant strides in the sugarcane and sugar sector under the leadership of Uttar Pradesh's Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
