Who are Danielle Lee-Sharp and Michael Menzie? Missing Ryker Lee's parents kept him in ‘small, padlocked room’
The mother and stepfather of Pima County teen Ryker Lee, who went missing from the Three Points area, have been arrested on child abuse charges.
Pima County authorities are searching for 15-year-old Ryker Lee, who vanished from the Three Points area on September 22. Detective work at the family's residence revealed a horrifying situation, leading to the arrest of Ryker's mother and stepfather on charges of child abuse. Danielle Renae Lee-Sharp, 39, and Michael Aaron Menzie, 43, are accused of abusing at least three children.
The teen was discovered confined in a cramped, unventilated corner of a recreational vehicle lacking basic amenities such as running water, restrooms, and air conditioning. The home he was taken from housed two younger siblings, aged 10 and 8, living in unsanitary conditions. The property reeked of cat urine, with vomit and feces stains throughout.
The children were found sleeping on plastic mattresses with no bedding, and their only bathroom had no sink. Authorities took the two younger kids into Department of Child Services custody. Ryker, described as 5-foot-9 and weighing 120 pounds, was last seen wearing a neon green shirt and floral-patterned pants. He has brown hair and hazel eyes. He reportedly left on foot and is currently missing.
