“We are grateful for what you have achieved” – AGI President tells Finance Minister

Dr Kofi Nsiah-Poku, the President of the Association of Ghana Industries (AGI), expressed his gratitude to Finance Minister Dr Cassiel Ato Forson for the progress achieved in stabilizing Ghana’s economy. The meeting, attended by the AGI leadership and prominent industry leaders, took place to discuss the country's path forward. Dr Nsiah-Poku stated that the nation now recognizes the stability achieved and that it is time to focus on growth and job creation.

He highlighted that the progress made serves as a solid foundation for Ghana's next phase of economic development, emphasizing the need to expand industries, boost exports, and create more employment opportunities. Dr Forson explained that the meeting was part of the Government's efforts to engage with stakeholders, including industry representatives, as they prepare the 2027 Budget.

The Finance Minister emphasized that the meeting aimed to identify ways to enable industry expansion, increase exports, and generate more jobs for Ghanaians. The dialogue between the Government and industry underscores the commitment to maintaining economic stability and translating it into robust growth, increased exports, and sustainable job creation for the Ghanaian populace.
