UNGA 81: Tinubu, hiding, running away from being arrested by Trump – Kenneth Okonkwo claims

Kenneth Okonkwo, spokesperson for the Atiku Abubakar Presidential Campaign, has accused President Bola Tinubu of avoiding the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) due to a fear of being arrested by the United States President Donald Trump. Okonkwo made these claims on Arise News, citing the recent absence of Tinubu from UNGA sessions.

According to Okonkwo, Tinubu has not attended any General Assembly session since coming into office and that a reasonable person would conclude that he is hiding from the United States. He also pointed out that the ambassador to the United Nations, Jimoh Ibrahim, had claimed that the President would be seated alongside Trump at the UNGA. However, Okonkwo alleges that this is a lie.

Okonkwo further alleges that the President did not attend the UNGA because he does not want his file to be released in the United States, possibly due to his involvement in drug dealings. He pointed out that the President paid a $460,000 plea bargain, which is a fact, and that there is a connection between this and his alleged absence from the UNGA.

Okonkwo's claims suggest that Tinubu is running away from the United States, possibly to avoid any legal repercussions or political repercussions that may arise from the alleged drug trafficking.
