Umahi orders display of Tinubu’s pictures on First Niger Bridge

Minister of Works, David Umahi, has mandated the display of President Bola Tinubu's pictures on the First Niger Bridge connecting Anambra and Delta states. During a recent inspection of the bridge's rehabilitation project in Anambra, Umahi instructed the South-East and South-South Senior Special Assistants to the President to adorn the bridge with Tinubu's images and paint it.

Umahi emphasized that the President's timely intervention and superior workmanship deserved recognition. He also emphasized the necessity of eliminating all unauthorized advertisements on the bridge, requiring any future advertisements to be approved by the Ministry of Works. Furthermore, Umahi declared the installation of more solar lights and the completion of closed-circuit television cameras on the bridge.

To ensure the bridge's safety, Umahi established a committee to evaluate the bridge's condition above and below water levels.
