UAE-made electric bikes, firefighting drones and smart farms go on show in Abu Dhabi

Dubai: The Emirates Development Bank (EDB) has launched "The Current of Growth," a two-day exhibition in Abu Dhabi, highlighting locally-made products and technological advancements from the UAE. The expo, set to run from October 14th to 15th, 2026, at the Abu Dhabi Energy Center, will display over 100 UAE-made items, encompassing electric motorcycles, autonomous firefighting drones, medical devices, smart farming technologies, solar solutions, and construction materials crafted from fungi and date-palm waste.

EDB CEO Ahmed Mohamed Al Naqbi emphasizes that the exhibition is a testament to the businesses and entrepreneurs the bank collaborates with, showcasing the transformation of ideas into viable products that cater to real-world demands and bolster UAE's industrial growth. The Current of Growth aims to provide visitors with a firsthand experience of UAE's industrial and innovation landscape, along with the individuals driving these advancements.

Admission to the exhibition is free, with hours from 10:00am to 7:00pm. The event underscores EDB's dedication to propelling the UAE's economic strategy by funding businesses and industries that foster industrial evolution, local production, and enduring growth. The exhibition also serves as a platform to spotlight the individuals, enterprises, and innovations propelling this progress and shaping the UAE's industrial destiny.
