An exclusive 13-second clip of the video debuted on CBS Mornings Thursday. The pop star attributes personal significance to the number 13, considering it her lucky digit.

Swift officially announced "Patient Zero" earlier this week via her social media platforms, expressing her excitement about the new single set to release on Friday. Alongside the single, Swift revealed a deluxe edition of her latest album, titled "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," featuring four additional tracks. The deluxe album will also drop on Friday.

The VMAs represent a significant milestone for Swift, as she will receive the VMAs' first-ever Artist Director Honors. This prestigious award acknowledges artists who have made groundbreaking contributions to music videos and visual storytelling through their behind-the-scenes work. The honor will make Swift the most-awarded artist at the show, breaking a tie she shares with Beyoncé.

Swift is nominated in 11 categories for the VMAs, which will be broadcast on CBS television stations and MTV starting at 7:30 p.m. ET, 4:30 p.m. PT., on Sunday, September 27. The VMAs will also be streamed on Paramount+.
